APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

        The goals of the MO-KAN Council of Amateur Radio Clubs, Inc. as excerpted from the Preamble to the Constitution and By-Laws are:

        It shall be our purpose to facilitate and assist in the management of Amateur Radio activities, to provide a forum for the exchange of information, and to promote cooperation between member societies and the general public, and to provide community service through the usage of Amateur Radio.

        According to Article 1 of the Constitution: All duly organized Amateur Radio Clubs, Associations, or Societies within the Greater Kansas City Area shall be eligible for membership.

        According to Section 2 of the By-Laws: Application for membership in the MO-KAN COUNCIL OF AMATEUR RADIO CLUBS, INC. shall be submitted in writing at a regular meeting.  Each application must express a willingness to participate in the activities of this organization, and to further its goals as stated in the Preamble of its Constitution.  A simple majority of member organizations duly appointed representatives shall be required for approval of membership in this organization.  The Secretary shall maintain a supply of membership applications and furnish them upon request.
